When should I book my newborn session?
We recommend booking your newborn session at the start of the second trimester. We will pencil in your due date upon booking and then once your little one makes their appearance, we will find a date within the 10-21 day age range that works with your schedules. A limited number of newborn sessions are offered each month to ensure availability, so it is highly recommended to book early!
Where will the session take place?
Newborn sessions typically take place in our fully equipped studio located in Brandon, Florida. In home newborn sessions are also available with a small travel fee.
What do I need to bring to the photo session?
All that is needed is your family and milk! We have an ever-growing collection of props, wraps, outfits, and accessories for baby as well as a selection of client closet dresses for Mama that you are more than welcome to use. Each session is customized to your preferred colors, nursery theme, and individual family details.
Can my partner/family join?
Absolutely! Family and sibling (if applicable) portraits are always encouraged. Please limit to immediate family, four-legged family members included!
How long does a newborn session last?
Baby is always the boss during newborn sessions, and we will follow his or her cues for breaks as needed. A couch, bottle warmer, changing station, nursing pillow, and drinks/snacks for parents (and siblings) are all provided. In total, a newborn session typically lasts between 2-4 hours.
Can I book my maternity and newborn sessions together?
Of course! When booking both maternity and newborn sessions together, $50 is deducted from the newborn session fee. Both session fees are due at booking and then you would choose any number of digital images and/or products that you would like to purchase separately after viewing the images from each individual session.
