Wilson Family Session at
Phillipe Park in Pinellas County, Florida
How sweet is this family of four?? We chose Phillipe Park in Safety Harbor for the variety of gorgeous backdrops that it offers. I always love going on "adventures" when little ones are involved so they don't lose interest in the session too quickly, and Phillipe Park has great little spots to adventure to while still being easily walkable. Big sister Liz was the most helpful little assistant during their entire session! She helped me choose where to lay down the blanket in Phillipe's large open field and even played peek-a-boo behind me to get baby sister Audrey's attention. They were the cutest duo!
I have been blessed to know Heather and Trevor since before they were married and it is so heartwarming to see how completely in love they both still are. Heather shared a quote recently and I thought it was perfectly fitting:
"Loving a military man is not hard. The distance is hard, the worry is hard, the sacrifices are hard. But loving him... that is the easiest thing I have ever done."

It is always the goal during family sessions to get "the shot" where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, the one you have printed large for your wall at home. But at the same time it is also the goal to make your family session fun! I think we got the perfect combination of those quintessential "everyone smiling at the camera" shots and the interactive, unposed and fun shots as well.
This session was also very important because it was the last weekend before Trevor was scheduled to leave for deployment. The strength and courage of military families never ceases to amaze me. It was such an honor to get to tell a little piece of their story and document these memories for them to hold onto until they are all back together again.
